SCOTT HABERMANN

Born into a Navy family while stationed in Jacksonville Florida, Scott has spent the majority of his life living a nomad's existence moving every year and a half to a new town or country. Although his geographic location has changed many times, one thing that has remained constant is his love of music.

Scott received his first acoustic guitar as a gift when he was in the 3rd grade. Not too excited about playing songs like "Michael Row Your Boat Ashore…" he soon lost interest and turned his attention to making louder noises through playing the drums. After a few years of banging the drums, Scott rediscovered the guitar when he received an electrified version for Christmas while living in the Philippines.

While still in high school, Scott formed his first band with his sister on vocals and set his sights on becoming a professional guitarist. By playing in numerous original and cover bands in Virginia and Florida, Scott has developed a hot modern guitar style. His influences include guitarists such as Randy Rhodes, Zakk Wylde, and George Lynch along with bands such as Metallica, Scorpions, and KISS.

Scott spent 5 years as lead guitarist for the Jagermeister sponsored band BREAKINGFORM which released 2 independent CD's and constantly toured the East Coast. BREAKINGFORM played 100's of shows from New York to the Virgin Islands, including venues like the legendary CBGB's, Nissan Pavilion, Virginia Beach Amphitheater & Hard Rock Cafe Orlando. While in BREAKINGFORM Scott shared the bill with many artists including: KISS, Def Leppard, Drowning Pool, Dokken, Poison, & Blue Oyster Cult.

Scott recently relocated to Nashville, TN. and is currently writing and recording for a new project called My Scarred Eyes.
